Kobe Bryant is still one of the most beloved players in the NBA regardless of his health and playing status.
The guy nicknamed the Black Mamba is on course to be selected to his 16 All Star team and is likely to be named an All Star starter despite only playing in six games this season.
Bryant, who is rehabbing from a broken knee, told the L.A. Times that he would like fans to vote for young players like Damian Lillard to be All Star starters instead of himself.

“I probably won’t be able to come back soon enough to be able to make my stamp or make my mark on the game,” Bryant said, “so my advice would be to vote for some of the younger players, the Damian Lillards of the world, because they’re more than deserving to be out there and playing that weekend.”
Regardless of how he might feel, Bryant is still among the leading vote getters in the NBA.
