Lebron Wants To Meet With New Commish on How To Improve NBA
Dont be surprise if later on down the road we see King James having a more secure spot in the NBA than just being a player.
With Commissioner David Stern’s day coming to a close, stepping down February 1st, Adam Silver is preparing to step up and become the NBA’s new head honcho. Before Silver can add touches to his new office, Lebron James has already made note to sit down with him. James has a couple of ideas to share with Silver and those ideas include expanding the NBA to a much larger audience.
“It’s not a major change, but the game can always be bigger. There’s a lot of people who love the game who can’t watch the game, so hopefully we can (expand it).”
“The opportunities I’ve had to be around him as he’s been the assistant commish, he’s been easy to talk to,” James said. “He understands the business and someone who understands what the game means to everyone — the whole pie. Best of luck to him, hopefully he can get 30 years in, too.”
Personally, for the NBA to be exciting again, players have to get their competitiveness back as well as stop ganging up to create one super team (cough, cough).
