When you have friends like Lovie Smith, who cares about being unemployed.
According to Ben Goessling and Pat Yasinskas of ESPN.com, former Minnesota Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier and Dallas Cowboys defensive line coach Rod Marinelli are possibilities to join Smith on the defensive side of the ball.
Frazier was recently fired as head coach in Minnesota and is deserving of the opportunity. Marinelli reportedly would need permission from the Cowboys to accept any offer from Smith and the Buccaneers.
Marinelli coached with Smith in Chicago for four years serving as assistant head coach, defensive line coach and defensive coordinator.
