Al-Borges-Michigan

Michigan Head Coach Brady Hoke announced today that he has fired offensive coordinator Al Borges. Coach Borges had been with Michigan since Brady Hoke took over in 2011. He was done in by declining offensive production the last two seasons.

It will be interesting to see where Michigan turns to now to inject life into their offense.

“Decisions like these are never easy,” Hoke said. “I have a great amount of respect for Al as a football coach and, more importantly, as a person. I appreciate everything he has done for Michigan Football for the past three seasons.”
