NASCAR Diveristy Intership Progam

The NASCAR Diversity Internship Program is now accepting applications for summer internships.

The 10-week, paid program is designed to expose college students to career opportunities within the motorsports industry. In addition to NASCAR, NDIP partners with key stakeholders to widen employment opportunities for young professionals, including sponsors, teams, race tracks and agencies.

Here are quick facts about the program:

  • It’s a 10 week, paid internship across various disciplines including licensing, communications, marketing, engineering, public affairs, diversity affairs, sales and sponsorships and event planning, among others
  • Stipend living is provided for interns stationed in Daytona Beach, FL and Charlotte, NC
  • Orientation experience includes three-day trip to NASCAR Sprint All-Star race in Charlotte, NC, providing interns a first-hand look at our sport, racing product, athletes and overall industry culture
  • Key executives from senior leadership meet interns through lunch-and-learns to provide an in-depth look at the work leaders are doing to galvanize the industry

Applications are being accepted for the 2014 season until Feb. 3. Interested candidates may apply through employment.nascar.com. For more information, visit http://www.nascardiversity.com/diversity_internships/default.aspx
