NBA Wants To Unveil More Sleeved Jerseys Next Year

If you didn’t like the NBA’s sleeved jerseys that were won on Christmas Day this year, you might need to just get used to them. According to Comcast SportsNet Northwest, not only are those here to stay but they plan to expand the jerseys to the “heritage” jerseys:

The heritage jerseys of NBA teams will be the next to undergo a makeover. Detroit’s “Motor City” alternate jersey and Portland’s “Rip City” alternate jersey are reportedly next in line to adopt the short-sleeve look.

I guess the league heard all the talk about the jerseys and decided that all publictiy is good publicity. The overwhelming majority of comments I got about them were negative for wearing them on the court. However, people did seem to like them to wear as regular shirts.
