The Tide could be rolling in a new QB for Nick Saban and company in former FSU QB Jacob Coker. According to his High School coach, Steve Mask Crimson Tide Head Coach Nick Saban visited the QB in house yesterday afternoon. From AL.com:
Mask told AL.com Wednesday morning the Coker family said they could foresee an official visit to the university in the “near future.”
Coker is a redshirt sophomore and on track to graduate in May so he would be eligible to play for the Bama this fall. By all accounts he is a very good player but just wasn’t able to beat out eventual Heisman winner Jameis Winston.
All eyes will be on the Alabama QB situation for next year since that is the big unknown for them heading into another season with National Championship hopes.
