NJ Politician Salty People Say Super Bowl is in New York

Super Bowl Contingency Plan

That inferiority complex is still alive and well in New Jersey these days. During his press conference last night Seattle Seahawks Head Coach Pete Carroll talked about how good it was to be back in New York since he coached there with the Jets. According to the Newark Star-Ledger, the next person to say something wasn’t too happy:

“Coach, I just want to say something. I’m Rich Boggiano with the city council,” he said, via Mike Vorkunov of the Newark Star-Ledger. “You said you’re glad to be back in New York, I just want to remind you, you’re in New Jersey.”

Rich Boggiano is a first year city councilman so he is still brimming with pride about his area. I guess he felt the need to step up and defend Jersey.

Memo to Mr Boggiano though, you are fighting a losing battle here.
