Pelicans Ryan Anderson Out Indefinitely With Herniated Disk

Laugh all you want about the Pelicans nickname, but Ryan Anderson has been playing extremely well this season.

The Pelicans announced Tuesday that forward Ryan Anderson is out indefinitely after suffering a herniated disk. Anderson suffered the injury last Friday after a  collision withCeltics forward Gerald Wallace.

Anderson was taken off the court on a stretcher.   It’s a huge blow for the Pelicans and their playoff chances.

Anderson is averaging 19.8 points and 6.5 rebounds this season for the Pelicans.
