Report: Pacquiao-Bradley II Likely Set for April 12

Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley will finally get it on for a second time,  and their is now reportedly a set date for the huge collision as well.

Nick Giongco of the Manila Bulletin is reporting that Pacquiao-Bradley II will take place on April 12.  Pacquiao of course lost a split decision to Bradley on June 9, 2012.

Controversy ensued immediately after as many in the boxing community felt that the WBO Welterweight champion, Pacquiao, was robbed on the judges cards.

The formal announcement will be made next week and a whirlwind press tour will follow in the first week of February with Los Angeles as the first stop on Feb. 4 and New York on Feb. 5.

A visit to Philadelphia for a similar gig is also on the calendar as Top Rank is determined to drum up interest for Pacquiao’s much-awaited return to the US.

Pacquiao only fought once last year and it took place in the gambling haven of Macau against Brandon Rios.

Pacquiao can’t afford another loss to Bradley as he continues on his quest to fix his finances, and set up a date with pound for pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr.
