Roger Goodell wants to keep growing the NFL. Thats obvious by the amount of games over in London in recent years. He has also expressed a desire to put a franchise over there which has been met with mixed reaction. Now when asked about a Super Bowl in London, he doesn’t exactly shoot it down:
“I want to grow the game,” Goodell said in response to the possibility of exporting the Super Bowl, via Bart Hubbuch of the New York Post. “Fans want more, and London is a great example.”
He does go on to say that he wouldn’t put a Super Bowl in London unless they had a team. Either way this is still a terrible idea considering most fans and players hate playing regular season games over there much less the Super Bowl.
