I understand coaches can easily get out of their contracts, but this is ridiculous.
Bo Davis was the defensive line coach at USC for less than a week before the Alabama Crimson Tide came calling. According to CBSSports.com, USC has confirmed that Davis officially accepted the job with the Tide.
“We wish Bo and his family the best of luck. He is a good coach,” Sarkisian said in a statement released by the university. “We will move forward and find a great coach for our defensive line.”
Davis cited family reasons for the sudden departure.
Davis previously worked as an assistant under Nick Saban at LSU, the Miami Dolphins and Alabama. Texas hired Alabama defensive line coach Chris Rumph for the same job.
