There are reports that Al Golden will be the next coach of Penn State and is informing the team today. Golden was said to have met with Penn State about their coaching vacancy recently.

Golden served as linebackers coach under Joe Paterno in 2000 and went to Penn State so he does have ties to the program. He has gone 22-15 as the Hurricanes head man and the team’s record improved every year despite looming sanctions.

So far this is an early report and we will bring you the update if/when it becomes official.

  1. nba is fixed says:

Message to all high school athletes, never choose to go to a school because of a coach. They demand loyalty from you, but the loyalty is not returned. These coaches will leave for a better opportunity at a moments notice. Signing day is a few weeks away, choose a university because of the university, not because of a coach.
