Just a couple of days ago, Blake Griffin made it seem like he was done with the dunk contest.

Well, the 2011 dunk contest champion is leaving the door open for a future return.

“I haven’t retired officially. It isn’t something I’ll never, ever do again. But for right now, I try to take my rest when I can. And this year I really wanted that Saturday night rest. So not this year.”

Maybe Blake Griffin can convince LeBron James to join him in the dunk contest next year.
