I love Champ Bailey as a player, but I think he’s finished as a player.

Bailey waited 15 years to get to a Super Bowl, and the moment was a disaster.  The Broncos got destroyed by the Seahawks, and Bailey was a non-factor in coverage as well.

Bailey told the Denver Post that he will return next season, and he’s not done.

“I’m not done playing football,” Bailey said, via the Denver Post. “So I feel like I’m going to give myself another shot next year.”

After saying he would never consider a move to safety, Bailey says he’s now open to the move if it will prolong his career.
