While I don’t think DeAngelo Hall would have been worth more than the veteran’s minimum, this is a pretty reasonable deal for the Redskins. It looks like they can get out of it after one year, without much of a salary cap hit.
The guaranteed money is all that is important and $5 million isn’t terrible if they decide he isn’t worth keeping around after next year.
