ECU DE Terrell Stanley

ECU DE Terrell Stanley is in critical condition following a car accident according to a school press release. He was a passenger in the car with OL  Ike Harris but Harris was treated and released. Here are the details from the accident report:

According to the accident report filed with the Greenville Police Department, the 2002 Lincoln Stanley was driving lost control while heading west in the left lane of Greenville Boulevard shortly after 6 a.m.  It veered off the right side of the road and crashed down an embankment near the W. Arthur Tripp Bridge over the Tar River.  The accident report stated that “charges are pending at this time.”

Greenville Police spokesperson Kristin Hunter indicated that the accident was believed to be weather related.

Thoughts and prayers are with Stanley. He was the team’s defensive line MVP last season.
