NBA.com reports that Atlanta Hawks guard John Jenkins underwent lower back surgery and will miss the rest of the season. Jenkins is a second year player that has struggled with back and leg injuries the season. He’s averaged 3.1 points, 1.7 rebounds and 12 minutes in just 13 games this season. The Hawks have said the surgery was successful but have given no additional details.
