Johnny Manziel: “Texans Passing On Me Would Be Their Worst Mistake”

OVO Johnny, luck

This years NFL draft has to be the most interesting we have seen in awhile. With the the first openly gay NFL prospect and characters like OVO Johnny, the NFL has their hands full with the 2014 draft.

The had the opportunity to speak with Johnny about his upcoming new life within the NFL and questions pertaining to the Texans. OVO Johnny had one response for them… don’t make that mistake.

“I want them to say absolutely, without a doubt, with 100 percent certainty, that I’m who they want,” Manziel said later to reporters from the Houston Chronicle

“I want everybody from the janitor at Reliant Stadium to the front-office executive assistant all the way up to (owner) Bob McNair to say, ‘This kid is 100 percent, can’t miss. This is who we want being the face of our program. We want the Texas kid staying in Texas and leading the Texans.’ ”

“It would be the worst decision they’ve ever made,” he said, smiling. “I’d be in the same division playing against them twice a year. Sorry, but you just turned that chip on my shoulder from a Frito into a Dorito.”

With Johnny not throwing in the combine, Im interested to see how many other QB’s seize the opportunity to take his spot. Manziel is training with George Whitfield, Jr. to prepare him for his NFL debut but is that enough to guarantee him the first QB taken in the draft without participating in the combine?
