Lance Stephenson is an All Star and his exclusion from the Eastern Conference All Star team is a travesty.
Stephenson is mad about the snub, and told ESPN such during an interview.
“I’m mad. I feel like I had my breakout year last year,” Stephenson told reporters after practice Friday, according to The Indianapolis Star. “I showed I can play with anyone on the floor and I felt like this year, I brought a little bit more to my game.
“I already had a chip on my shoulder and it made me even worse,” Stephenson said about not making the Eastern Conference reserves. “Now I’m going to kill everybody who is in front of me.”
“But other people saw it differently. I’m just going to keep working hard and prove everyone wrong.”

DeMar DeRozan of the Toronto Raptors, who trail the Heat in third place, 11 games back, was one of two shooting guards chosen by the East coaches, along with Joe Johnson of the Brooklyn Nets.
I understand DeRozan averages 21 points per game, but Stephenson is a walking triple double on a team that has serious championship aspirations.
