Not good news for the Dodgers.
According to Dodgers’ skipper Don Mattingly Matt Kemp is still “a little behind schedule…” and he is seen as doubtful to be ready by season opener when the Dodgers take on the D-backs in Sydney, Australia starting March 22.
Kemp hasn’t officially been ruled out, but for now it’s not looking like the ailing outfielder will be in the lineup.
But there is some hope that Kemp may be ready for the team’s state side opening series versus the Padres, after the Dodgers return from down under and get in some more ‘Spring’ games.
This season for Kemp and the Dodgers will be a telling one.
