When it rains it pours for the Oklahoma State men’s basketball team. After his most recent arrest for peeing out of a moving vehicle, freshman guard Stevie Clark has been dismissed from the team.
“We care about Stevie and wish nothing but the best for him,” head coach Travis Ford said in a statement. “We want him to find success in his future, where ever that may be.”
Clark was also arrested on Jan 1 for marijuana possession. This is another hit for Oklahoma State who already lost starting forward Michael Cobbins for the season due to injury and who is sitting at 4-4 in a Big 12 conference that they were picked to win. As far as Clark goes this is a very unfortunate situation. Hate to see a kid get put off a team for something so silly but this was his third strike and he was becoming a distraction to the team. Hopefully he will learn from this and not make the same mistakes.
