Pacers GM Kevin Pritchard told the Indianapolis Star that Andrew Bynum made quite the pitch when trying to convince the Pacers to take a chance on him.
During a radio interview, Pritchard said Bynum made it clear he was tring to fit in, and win a title.
“He made it perfectly clear,” Pritchard said during the radio interview. “He was like, ‘Look, I want to win a championship, I think I can really help you, and I want to fit in. I’m not coming here to let everybody fit in with me. I got to fit in with everybody else.’
“When he said that I think the thing changed.”
The Pacers have the perfect lockerroom to help keep the mercurial Bynum in line and on the same page. Bynum isn’t need by the Indianapolis Pacers.
I believe that’s what drew him to Indy more than anything.
