Report: Browns Wanted Bill Parcells To Run Team

If I didn’t know any better, I would have to assume that Browns interviewed any and everyone interested in being a part of their operations.

Amid the fallout of Joe Banner and Mike Lombardi getting their walking papers, Mike Freeman of Bleacher Report is reporting that the Browns actually sought out the legendary Bill Parcells to run the organization.

According to Freeman, Parcells says he simply talked to the Browns about why organizations succeed and why others fail.  Parcells last worked for the Dolphins before stepping down to become a consultant and later on leaving for good.
