Report: Tony Romo Ahead of Schedule in Rehab
If things keep progressing the way they are, Cowboys fans will see Tony Romo on the field to start next season. It’s said that he is ahead of schedule and progressing nicely from his back injury according to the Dallas Morning News:
Tony Romo has made excellent progress and will soon move into the next stage of his rehabilitation, sources said.
The Cowboys quarterback had surgery to relieve the pressure of a herniated disk on Dec. 27, two days before the team ended the regular season with a loss to Philadelphia. Basic core and stabilization exercises are the first step in the rehab process.
Jerry Jones does expect Romo to be there for training camp so this is all going according to his plan.
