Russell Wilson Wants To Own An NFL Team
2 time pro-bowler, NFL Super Bowl Champion, should we add owner to that list?
Not even a month after winning the Super Bowl, Wilson has aspirations far larger than the normal player.
“I want to be an owner of a team one day, whether it’s baseball or football,” Wilson said Tuesday in an interview with the Wall Street Journal. “Maybe even both.”
“For me, I’d love to get around to as many people as I can, Because at the end of the day, I want to learn as much as I can so that way, in my future — down the road after playing 20 years hopefully for the Seahawks — I can do that.”
“The biggest thing is networking, first of all, and doing your job well,” Wilson said. “Whenever you do something, do it the best that you possibly can and produce all the time — whether it’s playing football or communicating.”
20 more years of Wilson in the NFL? I guess some NFL teams have to worry about Wilson on the field than the front office for awhile. Either way, Wilson is a charming person with a great team around him. I can see him becoming a huge NFL game changer whether its on or off the field. Heck, he might be able to conquer both NFL and MLB.
