Seahawks To Release Sidney Rice
The Super Bowl champs have stars that need to be signed, so that means someone has to go.
Adam Schefter is reporting that the Seahawks plan to release wide receiver Sidney Rice.
Seahawks are releasing WR Sidney Rice, per league source. Rice signed a five-year, $41 million contract in July 2011.

The move would save the Seahawks $7 million in cap space as the team tries to lock up Earl Thomas and Richard Sherman long term.
