Once considered the frontrunner for DeSean Jackson’s services, thanks in part to his ties to coach Andy Reid, the Chiefs are officially out of the running for the free agent receiver, as per the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Obviously this is good news for the Redskins, who have the first scheduled visit for Jackson, but if a receiver needy team like the Chiefs did their “due diligence” and opted not to pursue D-Jax, shouldn’t that raise concerns for any of the other half dozen or so teams considering signing the electric playmaker?
