Well this is, interesting.

Former USC Trojans basketball player David Blu (formally Bluthenthal) is now a pro in Tel Aviv and also a member of the Israeli national basketball team. According to TMZ, there is a sperm donor shortage, and Blu wants to help his country out.

But Blu – who also plays for the Israeli national team – says he refuses to stand by and watch as the problem grows. Instead, he wants to take action.

“I would definitely donate sperm for the Israeli people.” Blu said. “I love this country.”

Talk about wanting to help your country any way you can.
