Jerry Jones is always looking for a way to make some extra cash. Manny Pacquiao has fought at Texas Stadium before and Jones has always said he would like to have more boxing there.

In an interesting tidbit during the Canelo Alvarez post fight press conference, Golden Boy president Richard Schaefer said Jones is very interested in hosting a Canelo fight there.

Canelo packed the MGM Grand during his fight with Angulo, has also done very well in San Antonio and other locations. We will see how the PPV numbers do, but there is no doubt about his popularity with the fans, so I could see this happening especially for a megafight against say a Miguel Cotto.
