Lakers fans really miss the Zen Master.

There has been a White House Petition started to officially bring back Phil Jackson as the President of Basketball Operations and replace Jim Buss.

Jim Buss has become the President of Basketball Operations, and the results have been disastrous. He hired Mike D’Antoni. He lost Dwight Howard. And there is a giant vote of no confidence in the Lakers nation.

I generally love the wacky nature of starting these sorts of petitions but this is getting out of hand. Even if Phil came back there is no guarantee that the Lakers would instantly return to the 3-peat days. I do like the idea of him coming back to the front office though so I’m glad there is some focus on that.

Still, nothing was the same since “basketball reasons.”
