MRI Shows Russell Westbrook's Knee Injury is Fine

After leaving Friday’s double-overtime game against the Toronto Raptors with a knee injury, Russell Westbrook’s MRI diagnosis confirmed on Saturday that he will be fine.

From The Oklahoman’s Anthony Slater:

After an MRI and clinical exam, it was determined that no issues of concern resulted from Westbrook’s knee-to-knee contact with Raptors guard Kyle Lowry last night.

Moving forward, the Thunder will continue to monitor Westbrook’s minutes and rest him on one night of its back-to-backs. OKC plays Denver at home on Monday and the Mavericks in Dallas on Tuesday. Westbrook is expected to play in one of those games and rest in the other.
