NFL Won’t Allow Personal Foul Penalties to Be Reviewed
The NFL didn’t pass a rule that would make personal fouls calls reviewable.
I understand they don’t want to make the games longer time wise, but it is impossible for the refs to see in real time if a hit is legal or not.
They are instructed to throw the flag if it is close and many teams were penalized for clean hits being called penalties. It gives an unfair advantage to the offense and screws with the competitive balance of the game.
It is interesting to me that the NFL will ban celebrations that have nothing to do with the play on the field, but won’t approve a rule to help get a play right.Powered by Sidelines
