Despite reports that the Eagles are listening to offers for DeSean Jackson, Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Daily News is reporting that Eagles head coach Chip Kelly has reached out to Jackson, and has told him to ignore the persistent trade rumors.

Bowens via former Eagles linebacker and current 94WIP radio Ike Reese suggested that DeSean should be okay.
Last night, as I reported in today’s Daily News, a source close to DeSean said the team hadn’t talked to him about a trade. The source said DeSean very much wants to stay here.
Then, this morning, 94WIP’s Ike Reese reported that Eagles coach Chip Kelly has indeed spoken with Jackson and has told him not to worry about the trade reports. I checked back with my source, who said yes, that did happen. When? The source didn’t know, but presumably, it would have had to have been last night or this morning.
Tim McManus of Birds 24/7 is a guest right now on 97.5 The Fanatic, and he stated that important people in the Jackson camp have denied that Kelly or anyone from the Eagles organization has reached out to the Jaccpot CEO.
This will continue to get interesting as the days pass.
