Metta World Peace wants another shot with Knicks

Metta World Peace only played in 29 games before he was bought out by the New York Knicks on February 25th. The 34-year old forward felt he wasn’t given a fair shake.

“I don’t think I was given a fair chance,” he told ESPNNewYork.com. “People automatically assume that I’m getting old.”

Metta World Peace career is on the downfall, but he’s hoping to get another shot in New York under Phil Jackson.

“Absolutely not,” he told the Max & Marcellus Show on ESPNLA 710 Radio (h/t ESPNLosAngeles.com) when asked about whether he would have accepted his buyout if he’d been aware that Jackson was coming.
