It’s always tough when teams lose key players to injuries just before the season starts. The Detroit Tigers now have about three weeks to find a shortstop after it was learned Jose Iglesias succumbed to a shin injury that will keep him out for a while.

If the Tigers are able to pick up free-agent infielder Stephen Drew, that would go a long way seeing as the former Boston Red Sox is a more than capable replacement for Iglesias.
