Stories like this never get old.

Youth hockey player Sam Tageson will most likely never get a chance to compete at the professional level because of a potentially fatal heart condition he has suffered from since birth, but his disability hasn’t prevented him from signing a professional contract.

The San Jose Sharks signed Tageson to a 1-day contract, enabling him to practice and spend the day with the team, as well as skate out of the “Shark Head” for his own personal introduction.

No matter what your favorite sport may be, seeing ¬†ailing children smiling like this remind us truly what they’re about.
