Brett Brown is a realist, and he had to be one when he accepted the head coaching job of the 76ers.
Brown and the 76ers have now lost 14 straight, and if you listen to the coach speak, the next win could be a long ways away. Brown told Marc Narducci of The (Philadelphia) Inquirer that he was unsure of the next time his team might win a game.
Brown didn’t give the politically correct answer when asked if he wonders if the Sixers will win another game this season.
“All the time, I tell them that,” Brown said. “This is the truth.”
The Sixers have 22 games left, and a losing streak of such proportions could leave Philly with 36 straight losses.
