Bengals fullback Orson Charles was arrested Monday night and charged with “wanton endangerment-first degree.”   What is wanton endangerment?

under circumstances manifesting extreme indifference to the value of human life, someone wantonly engages in conduct which creates a substantial danger of death or serious physical injury to another.

According to WKYT, Charles was booked into the Madison County Detention Center on charges of wanton endangerment. There were no other immediate details of the charges.

TMZ is now reporting that Charles wask booked for an extreme case of road rage with a gun.

Cincinnati Bengals fullback Orson Charles was arrested in Kentucky late Monday night … after cops say he had an extreme case of road rage … involving a GUN … TMZ Sports has learned.

Orson — who was featured on the HBO reality show “Hard Knocks” — was busted for 1st degree wanton endangerment … and we’re told it all stems from a road rage incident.

Law enforcement sources tell us … Wells allegedly “brandished a firearm on the Interstate during a road rage incident on I-75.”
