Baltimore Ravens v Cincinnati Bengals

Vontaze Burfict has come a long way from the guy nobody wanted to draft in 2012.  Burfict has rehabbed his image and played phenomenal football for the Cincinnati Bengals over his first two seasons.

Ian Rapoport is reporting that the Bengals and Burfict are beginning the initial discussions on a huge new deal for the talented inside linebacker.

Burfict is due $570,000 in 2014 after signing a three-year $1.441 million contract with just a $1,000 signing bonus in 2012.   He led the NFL with 171 combined tackles, three sacks, six passes defensed and an interception in 2013.
