In a season where the Celtics finished 25-7 missing the playoffs for the first time in seven years, GM Danny Ainge says he is ready to rebuild the franchise and would consider trading for an All Star to do so.
Ainge on a dealing for an All-Star: “That’s possible. We’ll certainly look into that. So much depends upon where we end up in the draft.”

Nothing is set in stone and at this point it all depends on where the Celtics wind up in the draft. Ainge has said time and time again that trading Rajon Rondo is not an option but he’s the only player on their team that would generate enough interest to make a big time trade.
