It’s probably not a big deal at all, but in light of recent criticisms, it’s not a good look.
The Redskins, via the process of hiring a new head coach, started their off-season workout program on Monday. We have no actual numbers in regards to attendance on day 1, but reports say DeSean Jackson was not a participant.
DeSean Jackson has reportedly not shown up at today's first day of OTAs with Washington.

Is it a big deal that DeSean Jackson is reportedly not at first day of off-season program? No. Would it have been nice? Yes. #Redskins

Jackson was an Eagles player two weeks ago and likely had his schedule set to reflect that. I’m sure between trying to find a place, getting some affairs in order and simply adjusting, DeSean will make his way into “voluntary” workouts.
It appears DeSean is hanging out on some private villa. Vacation was scheduled in advance, he could have canceled it, he chose not to. He’ll show up when the vacation is over.
DeSean Jackson will be in town this week to join the team in workouts. He is on a pre planned vacation right now. #Redskins
