Eric Decker Paid Jeff Cumberland $27K & Steak Dinner For No. 87
Eric Decker is a rich man now so he can afford this.
Decker of course signed a five year, $36 million with the Jets and wanted to continue wearing the No. 87 jersey. Jets tight end Jeff Cumberland wore the number until both men came to an agreement over dinner.
Eric Decker negotiated w/Jeff Cumberland to get his No. 87 back. I'm told the price was $25K & steak dinner. JC is a smart business man #nyj
