Ex-LSU LB Doing Better After Being Shot By Ex-LSU OL Over Meeting Same Girl
No woman is worth being shot over.
So, if you are in a situation where the boyfriend, ex-boyfriend or just a crazy guy comes over, it is best to just leave. I understand trying to defend the young lady’s honor, but it shouldn’t lead to this.
“Tahj is doing much better,” childhood friend Shane Hanchey told Gannett Louisiana by phone Sunday night. “It was bad Saturday. He’s really fortunate. He made a big progression in this surgery from what the doctors told me today. They removed the bullet. An artery that was damaged is back in place. They’re not going to have to put a plate in his hip, where the bullet ended up. He is all sewed up, and he is not expected to have any more surgeries.”
Jones, 24, was shot in the abdomen shortly before midnight Friday in Sulphur allegedly by Brandon Winey, another former LSU football player, at the apartment of a female acquaintance of both, according to Sulphur Police. Jones and Winey got into an argument when Winey arrived at the female’s apartment after Jones.
Winey has been arrested, charged with 2nd degree attempted murder and is being held on $1 million bond. Jones is still in serious condition and expected to be in the hospital for at least another two weeks.Powered by Sidelines
