J.R. Smith-Knicks-Record-10-Three-pointers

This may or may not have been the J.R. Smith that Phil Jackson said could make the Knicks dangerous in the playoffs if they were able to sneak in.

With Carmelo Anthony laboring and not looking to shoot because of a shoulder injury, Smith tried to assume the lead dog role for the Knicks and set a record in the process.

Smith attempted an NBA record 22 three’s in the Knicks loss to the Heat.  He also set a new New York Knicks record with 10 made three pointers as well.
