Who do you believe?

Here is what Tomahawk Nation had to say.

Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston was issued a citation Tuesday for shoplifting crab legs from Publix, a misdemeanor arrest, according to multiple sources. Winston, the reigning Heisman Trophy winner, is a red-shirt sophomore for the Seminoles.

But the cops says they don’t have any record of Jameis doing anything.

*UPDATE*

According to Tomahawk Nation there is a reason the cops have no record.

“He got an adult civil citation,” a trusted source inside Tallahasse Police told Tomahawk Nation. “If he completes the sanctions it will never show up on his record. They commonly give them to juveniles on first criminal offenses. They are now doing it for minor misdemeanors for adults to lower crime rate”

*UPDATE 2*

A press conference will be held to discuss what happened.

At this time the department would not go into details about the situation or how Winston was involved. WTXL did check with the Leon County Jail, as of Wednesday morning Winston has not been arrested.

The Leon County Sheriff’s Department will be holding a 2 p.m. news conference to discuss the details.
