The Eagles front office may be the only participants involved who aren’t concerned about DeSean Jackson signing with the Redskins. The Eagles lost the ability to determine Jackson’s landing spot when they decided to cut him after not being able to find a willing trade partner.
New Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins has had to deal with Jackson as a member of the Saints and says “he’s concerned about Jackson staying in the NFC East” and having to face him twice a year.
Jenkins appeared Monday night on NFL Network’s “NFL Total Access” and acknowledged the Eagles’ secondary might have trouble containing the explosive duo of Jackson and Pierre Garcon.
“Once he stayed in the division,” Jenkins said, “that’s when a little bit of concern comes in.”
