Michael Pineda Ejected After Umps Find Pine Tar on His Neck
Yankees pitcher Michael Pineda took brazen to a whole new level tonight against Boston, after umpires found what appeared to be pine tar on the hurler’s neck in the 2nd inning. If you don’t recall, Pineda pulled the same stunt a couple weeks ago against the Red Sox no less, albeit a little more discreetly. Needless to say the umps wasted no time in throwing Pineda out of the ballgame.

At this rate the next time Pineda pitches he’ll probably be covered in pine tar while wearing nothing but a jock strap.Powered by Sidelines
