Clemson QB Chad Kelly has been kicked off the Clemson football team and was escorted from the facility by police. This is according to multiple reports:
Football: http://t.co/2RZHxu5x1h is reporting Chad Kelly has been dismissed from the #Clemson football team.

Kelly was in a three way battle for the starting job to replace Tajh Boyd that he was expected to win. He did not play well during the spring game and showed frustration on the bench over a coaches call. HC Dabo Swinney did say that Kelly didn’t handle adversity well but don’t read too much into the performance.
The team has confirmed his dismissal but we are awaiting more details on the reason behind police involvement.
“I have dismissed Chad Kelly for conduct detrimental to our program,” said Swinney. “He has had a pattern of behavior that is not consistent with the values of our program. I hope he will mature and grow from this and become the man and player I know he can be. I wish him nothing but the best in the future academically and athletically.”
We will keep you updated as more information comes out.
