Haloti Ngata has to explain this to me. According to Albert Breer of the NFL Network, Ngata rejected what would have been a “lucrative” and “long-term” offer from the Ravens this offseason.
The Ravens attempted to lower Ngata’s whopping $16 million cap hit with a “lucrative, long-term” pact, one that would allow Ngata to retire a Raven.
Earlier this offseason, the Ravens inked pass rusher Terrell Suggs to a long-term deal that will let him retire in Baltimore and allowed the Ravens to free up some cap space.
